HISTORY OF VMD
4/2021
ALUMINUM FACTORY & HQ BEGAN OPERATION
Our Aluminum Factory & HQ officially started production amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, with monthly production capacity of 150 containers. This facility has a total land area of 47.000m², with 16.000m² of production and warehouse space.
2/2022
CUSHION FACTORY STARTED PRODUCTION
Our Cushion Factory officially started production, marking VMD's first step to vertically integrate its supply chain. This facility has a total land area of 15.000m², with 9.000m² of production and warehouse space.
11/2022
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
VMD becomes the first Vietnamese company obtain OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification in the outdoor furniture industry.
2/2025
GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF EXPANDED CUSHION FACTORY
Our Expanded Cushion Factory will begin operation by 8/2025. With an additional 14.000m² to our production and warehousing space, we aim to increase monthly production capacity by 33% to 200 containers.
