From the first days of the company, VMD JSC has realized that streamlining and automating processes, creating a leaner, more accurate and efficient operation are key driving factors to the company’s success. As a result, VMD JSC has partnered with ITG Vietnam to develop 3S ERP and 3S i-FACTORY. The project is scheduled to fully deploy within 12 months and today – after 6 months of implementation – we are honored to announce that the phase 1.1 of 3S ERP had been finished and going live from Sep 01^st 2021. Well done the TEAM!

With phase 1.1 in place – now VMD can manage all of its Purchasing, Sales and Inventory modules in 3S ERP platform in the most efficient resource-efficient manner.

Phase 1.2 – which includes Accounting, Planning and Production modules – is under development and expected to go operational in November 2021 and regardless of the complications caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, we are certain that we will meet our goal.

Last but not least, once the full 3S ERP is completed in November 2021, we will launch our 3S i-FACTORY, making VMD one of the first furniture companies in Vietnam to implement this advanced manufacturing management system. 3S i-FACTORY is a comprehensive set of digital transformation solutions combining IT (information technology) and OT (operation technology). The solution also applies latest advanced technologies (such as IIoT, AI, Big Data) to assist enhance production capacity, improve product quality, save operational costs and meet delivery schedule. The project is scheduled to be completed in April 2022.
